Development Underway at 10-Acre Kneeton Grove Development in East Bridgford

Breaking Ground

Work has officially commenced on Kneeton Grove, a much-anticipated mix of quality and sustainable housing development in East Bridgford. The development will deliver 88 energy-efficient, modern homes tailored to meet contemporary living standards.

Stagfield Group and Peveril Homes, leading property developers and housebuilders in the East Midlands, worked together and jointly acquired the 10-acre site in July 2024. Situated on Butt Lane in the scenic rural village, this low-energy development underscores the partnership’s commitment to creating environmentally conscious housing.

With planning approval secured from Rushcliffe Borough Council, the site will feature homes equipped with cutting-edge green technology, including air source heat pumps (ASHPs), solar panels, and integrated smart systems.

The development will cater to diverse needs, offering one- and two-bedroom properties for first-time buyers and downsizers, alongside larger three-, four-, and five-bedroom family homes.

This marks the second collaboration between Stagfield Group and Peveril Homes, following the success of their low-carbon, energy-efficient housing project Abbey Central, on Abbey Road in West Bridgford, Nottingham.

James Smith, Managing Director of Peveril Homes, added: “Our partnership with Stagfield Group enables us to continue innovating our product range. Each house type is meticulously designed from the ground up to meet the needs of modern living while supporting the ambitious carbon net-zero targets set by the local council."

Kevin Hard, Managing Director of Stagfield Group, shared his enthusiasm for the project: “We have worked tirelessly on this site for many years, building strong local support and navigating the planning process to secure this opportunity. Partnering with Peveril Homes, we are excited to deliver homes that combine lower energy costs, high-quality design, and modern living for future residents.”

The acquisition and development process was supported by multiple agents, including Savills, HEB Chartered Surveyors, Mather Jamie, Boyer Planning, and legal advisors Freeths.

The site is expected to be officially launched in June 2025.
